Abby's Cat Nap Quilt
My tree limb is hanging mid air--but not on purpose! If I ever make this one, I'll extend the limb to meet the block edge, like it should be and embroider the cat's eyes with closed lashes. Thank you for such a good time with this RR and such as great quilt too! Didn't change a thing, just added the binding. My 1st grandchild is due in Jan. and I designed this with her in mind..I would love to make this for my granddaughter and someday, let her know how it came to be made and the nice bunch of ladies I met.

I tried to carry on the heart theme from the center. I had to tone down the colors and I liked the palm leaf in the corners. I also added a binding in the purple fabric. - Verona

"I wanted to add more applique, use more purple and gold, and keep with the feel of the "gem" iin the center. I kept experimenting with designs until I felt satisfied, and then after looking at a print out, I went back and added the colored tear drop shapes in the border." - Robert

Found this block and thought it could look Christmas-ie with a little re-coloring. I think I am going to make a quilt for every season eventually. I can't wait to see what you come up with. :)

Drunken Geese
"No changes to the last quilt....Just anted to comment on it! I really like the borders added. Maybe too much piecing to actually makeup in person, but still a fantastic look. The quilt looks even better if you right click and uncheck outline patches and blocks." -Bob

Shades of Blue & Yellow
"I would love to have a blue and yellow quilt with the shading being as started with the center section. You can use other colors as long as the main colors are blue and yellow. Adding some yellow in the blue is fine as long as it just a bit. Same goes with adding blue in the yellow section. Have fun when adding the borders be creative!"

Among The Stars
by Lois
This was my first Round Robin and I found it to be fun. I look forward to doing it again. I am a beginner and my design was rather simple. Hopefully next time I will have more experience with the program. The ladies that worked with me were wonderful! All were very nice, sweet, and willing to help. I appreciate that very much.

Celtic Flowers/Rings
I wasn't to enthused about the way the yellow showed up on this. Liked it better on this note card but it didn't show that way on the actual quilt. Add other fabrics if you want but no pinks please.

Spring in my section of New York state in the United States is usually somewhat dismal as we may have snow falling as late as the end of April. Although I normally am not attracted to floral patterns, I find that every spring I design and/or make a quilt that focuses on flowers. Pansies have been a favorite flower ever since I was a young child.
