I tried to add stencils, but just couldn't get it to work.
I would like to see the leave stencil you made on this
border. Since I couldn't figure it out, I made the border
patchy
to bring in more color. I hope you enjoy! One day I will
figure out how to make stencils work! -Cyndie

I wanted to slow the pattern down a little so
I added a small solid strip between the blocks and the
last pieced
border. I have always liked flying geese and the adjused
applique for the corner blocks did the trick! I hope you
like it. -Terry

Cyndie I enjoyed being able to add another border around
your wonderful quilt. I decided to make this one plain and
just pull colors from the inside of your center block because
I didn't want to take away from the great border that Terry
added. I hope you like what we have come up with for you. -Pam

This is a very sharp looking center with the black and white
colors, along with the applique. I added a litle red for
some extra color along with adding some more butterflies. -Patti
I had a tough time coming up with the last border, but decided
to bring the flowers and butterflies back into it.
Very nice job from all of you. - Sandy

I continued with the fabrics and blocks that were already
in the sketchbook and brought the blue back into play. -Sandy

I love blue and white quilts and Hawaiian applique quilts.
I decided to combine the two for this project. -Patti

I brought out the stars, with the same background, so the
stars look like they are floating in a night blue sky. I
wanted to keep it simple, so the focus would remian on the
center, which is very intricate! -Patti

Since we are looking forward to summer here, I thought I would go with one of my favorite summer memories. The good old Good Humor truck with my favorite ice cream "Creamsicle". They were soooo good. - Marge
