Info-EQ Badge Design

Make and wear this badge to identify yourself to other Info-EQ members at quilt shows.

To download the eqbadge project
- Click above to download the file. A "Save in" box appears. (Note: If this is not how your
browser works, then right-click on the underlined project file above to get the Save
in box.)
- Click on the down arrow beside the "Save in:" box. A list drops down.
- Scroll to find the hard drive where you keep your project files (typically C:\).
- Click on this hard drive name. This puts the hard drive name in the "Save in:" box. You see a list of folders below.
- Double-click My Documents, then My EQ5, then PJ5.
- Click the Save button. The eqbadge.pj5 project will be saved right into the projects folder.
To open the eqbadge project
- Open EQ5.
- Click the Open an Existing Project tab (it appears immediately when you open the program).
*OR*
On the FILE menu, choose Open.
- In the list of existing projects, scroll to find EQBadge.
- Click on the EQBadge project to select it.
- Click OK.
- The Sketchbook opens, displaying the eqbadge blocks. Click on the block tab, to see the blocks, and be sure to look at each block notecard for helpful construction information.
- Print out the design to laminate and wear. Or print out the patterns and sew a fabric badge.
- Wear at quilt shows with pride, identifying yourself to other EQ friends as a member of the EQ maillist, Info-EQ.
