What is EQ5 Show?
EQ5 Show is a stand-alone quilt viewer. It creates a "screen-saver-like" slide show, featuring
quilts
from your own EQ projects.
How do I get EQ5 Show?
Follow the directions below to download and install EQ5 Show on your computer's hard drive.
How long does EQ5 Show take to download?
Depending on your modem speed, the capabilities of your Internet Service Provider (ISP), and overall Internet traffic, downloading the upgrade should take 12-15 minutes or considerably less. Download EQ5 Show directly onto your hard drive. If you have trouble downloading, it may be that the site is busy. Try again another time.
Who can use EQ5 Show?
Owners of Electric Quilt version 5 (EQ5) can use EQ5 Show. If you have ordered and installed
the EQ5 Embroidery Upgrade CD, you already have EQ5 Show and do not need to download or install
anything else, so continue surfing our web site.
Is EQ5 Show a demo for EQ5?
No. EQ5 Show is not an EQ5 demo. It can, however, demonstrate your quilts from projects you've made in EQ3, 4 and 5.
What does EQ5 Show do?
EQ Show shows quilts in whatever projects you select. Create your own on-screen quilt show just for fun, or as a store or show computer demo.
How does EQ5 Show work?
Once you've installed EQ5 Show, you're the director. Open EQ5 Show and pick projects, speed, and "special effects" to customize your show. Click the Run button to start the show.
Can I make EQ5 Show show projects from a floppy disk or CD?
Yes. Open EQ5 Show, click on the Browse button on the Directory tab, and change the directory to look at your floppy drive or CD drive.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have EQ5 to use this software. EQ5 Show will not run without EQ5 installed. If you reinstall EQ5, you will then need to reinstall EQ5 Show.
- Click on the EQ5 Show link (directly above this sentence).
- You may have a choice between Open or Save to Disk. Choose Save.
You may have a Save button or you may have a list of radio buttons which have
wording similar to: "Save to Disk," "Save File," or "Save it to disk".
- Click the Save or OK button (depending on your operating system).
- From the Save in drop down box, select the directory in which you wish to
save, then click the Save button. Be sure to remember where you saved the
EQ5Show.exe file on your computer.
- Close your EQ5 program if it is open.
- Locate and double-click the file you downloaded. If you can't find the file
you downloaded to your computer see steps a-d below.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the EQ5 Show.
If you can't find the downloaded file:
- If you can't find the file you downloaded, first, don't worry! It isn't
lost forever.
- Go to your desktop and press the Windows key and F (at the same time) to
search for the file.
- Type EQ5Show.exe (or whatever you saved the download as) in the box.
- Hit the Find Now or Search now button. Then return to step 6 above.
