Kaleidoscope Collectors

This club is open to everyone who owns the KALEIDOSCOPE COLLECTION CD plus EQ5 or EQ6. It will run for one year.

Each month I’ll present something new that you can do with designs from the CD. One month we’ll learn to modify a block, or try out quilt design variations. Another month we may draw from scratch, or learn to rotate fabric to complement the Kaleidoscope design.

The whole idea is to work together, using these Kaleidoscopes, to really design some cools quilts and learn in the process.

January	Foundation Fundamentals PART 1	8 wedges from 2nd favorite Star-cornered block
February	Foundation Fundamentals PART 2	16 wedges from Gazebo 1 star-cornered block or block drawn in lesson
March	Poppies! Making the Cover Quilt	8 wedges from favorite Star-cornered Poppy block
April	Secondary Designs	8 wedges mirrored from Snow Squall 1 and another 8 wedges un-mirrored from Snow Squall 1
May	Color Theory 101	any Star-Cornered Block that looks fun and that isn't symmetrical within its own wedges. Do 8 mirrored, and 8 un-mirrored.
June	Fussy Cutting & Rotating Fabric	project revealed
July	Planning your Layout	layouts & borders
August	Spirals & Twists & maybe a Fractal	... sewing it together
September	Strip Quilts	send us a picture for the gallery!
October	???	send us a picture for the gallery!
