BARB VLACK'S MARSHMALLOWS
Homemade marshmallows? Once you try these, ... store-bought will never taste the same. Try a great recipe from EQ teacher and author Barb Vlack. They're easy, delicious, and impressive enough to give as gifts. You'll be singing: "Marshmallows roasting on an open fire..." Click here to get the recipe (PDF). Have fun experimenting with a flavoring for your next batch (almond, mint, etc.)

MYSTERY QUILT STORY AND LESSONS

Our Mitzi McDrubbin mystery quilt continues. Read Episode 10, in which Mitzi poses as a magazine editor to sniff for clues at a perfume company's press Event. Then do Lesson 10, and practice using the Library Search tools to find a "Christmas Tree" block. Learn to use EQ5 or EQ6 as you solve the mystery and see your final quilt after the 12th episode.

(If you are just joining us, start here with Episode 1 and Lesson 1.)

THINKING OF TEACHING EQ6?
The message we hear loudly is "more EQ classes!" More people are teaching; more want hands-on computer classes. If you're considering teaching EQ, read this short article by EQ teacher Barb Gorges, for her tips. We welcome your response, or other teaching articles.

If you are already teaching, don't forget to let our webmaster know the date, time and location of your classes so we can list them on our web site.

WANT TO START AN EQ CLUB?
Download our "Planning an EQ Club" PDF file (PDF file). See what you need to get started, how to organize, and get topic ideas. The Mystery Quilt would make a great club project.
