Hi Chris,
Glad to have you back! We did get rid of the voting each month, but we still offer free fabric downloads. You can find them here (including archived fabric): http://doyoueq.com/project_download_categories/fabric-downloads/
Yes, you can use your EQ5/6 fabric in EQ7. If they were free downloads, you’ll have to find the .FAB fabrics on your computer and put them in the correct directory for your EQ7 to link to. If you have old Stash products (that you had to purchase), you can also link those, but they may need to be installed if you’re on a new computer. You can find info here: http://support.electricquilt.com/Linking-fabric-libraries-from-EQ5-to-EQ7.ashx

Yes its been a while since I visited the EQ website, but having just updated to EQ7 I thought I would have a look at what is on offer.
Great disappointment that you no longer have the monthly voting for the next months FREE fabric stash.
Now we have to pay for it. Can I transfer all my EQ fabric stash from EQ5 & EQ6 into EQ7
I look forward to the next download of fabrics. This is SUCH a great new inclusion to your wonderful suite of fantastic products. I love all my EQ products.
The download worked so well. It was very easy to download and linked perfectly!
Online Stash is much more cost effective for me so am very excited about this new product.
Oh my gosh! This could not be any easier! I’ve not downloaded much fabrics to my EQ7 fabric library because it was just too complicated for me…but not anymore! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Now I can see many more projects in my future! Don’t tell my husband! LOL
I’ve come so close to buying “Stash” several times, but was always put off by the shipping expense in comparison to the relatively low price for “Stash”…especially when it was on sale. Now I have no excuses. Thank you, this was a great marketing move!
This is so “Cool”! In less than “5 minutes” I have the latest version of Stash on my desktop and laptop computers.
What a wonderful way to buy “Stash” !!!!!!! LOL
No packaging and shipping costs on your end and you passed that savings on to us …. and there’s no shipping costs or wait on our end. Now it’s time for you to figure out how to package and sell extra hours in the day so we can all spend more time “playing” with our favorite software !!!!!!!
