An updated version of BlockBase+ is yours — free!

Because you own BlockBase+, you get this update for free. Follow the instructions below to update your BlockBase+ software. If you have BlockBase+ on multiple computers, you will need to do these steps for all computers.

This is a free update for owners of the new BlockBase+, released in March 2021. If you have the original BlockBase, released on CD, you can purchase the new version here »

Not sure if you need to update?

Check your current BlockBase+ version number to decide if you need to update.

For Windows: On the top menu of BlockBase+, click File > About BlockBase+.

For Mac: On the top menu of BlockBase+, click BlockBase Plus > About BlockBase+.

If your version number does not match the Current Version listed below, then you need to update.

BB+ for Windows

Current Version 1.0.1.4 - Released June 29, 2021

Find your computer's BlockBase+ version number, as noted above. If your BlockBase+ version number matches the Current Version, then your BlockBase+ is all up-to-date on this computer.

Follow the instructions below to update your BlockBase+:

  1. You do not need to uninstall your previous version before installing this new version.
  2. Click the button below to access your EQ Account.
  3. Log into your EQ Account using the same email and password used to purchase or claim BlockBase+.
  4. Click My Downloads and then click the BlockBase+ Windows Download button to start the download. The file will take several minutes to download. This file includes all the latest updates. Your BlockBase+ License ID and License Password are listed in your account under the download button. You may need these numbers for activation.
  5. After it has finished downloading, locate the BlockBase_Plus_Setup.exe file in your Downloads folder. Double-click the file to start the installation. Follow the instructions to install. Allow permission, if prompted by your computer.
  6. You may be asked to activate during installation. Enter your BlockBase+ License ID and License Password to activate your license.
  7. When the installation has finished, open BlockBase+. On the top menu, choose File > About BlockBase+. You have successfully updated BlockBase+ if the version number matches the Current Version number listed above.

BB+ for macOS

Current Version 3.0.1.4 - Released June 29, 2021

Find your computer's BlockBase+ version number, as noted above. If your BlockBase+ version number matches the Current Version, then your BlockBase+ is all up-to-date on this computer.

Follow the instructions below to update your BlockBase+:

  6. When the installation has finished, open BlockBase+. When it opens, you may be asked to activate. Enter your BlockBase+ License ID and License Password to activate your license, then BlockBase+ should open.
  7. On the top menu, choose BlockBase Plus > About BlockBase+. You have successfully updated BlockBase+ if the version number matches the Current Version number listed above.
