The EQ8 Lessons for Beginners is the best book for going step-by-step through lessons to learn the ins and outs of the program. The first chapter covers all 3 worktables, and Chapters 2 and 3 get more into different features of the quilt designing and block drawing. Chapter 4 is full of some fun, popular topics in EQ. The book is 128 pages, so it's easy to go through, and a great way to get started.
The EQ8 Block Library book is simply a catalog of the block designs included in the EQ8 library. This is not a lesson book for learning the software. Browse the 6,000+ colorful blocks and mark your favorites for your next project!
The EQ8 Designing More Quilts book is full of lessons that cover all sorts of design techniques! If you want to design your own quilts it is nice to know what EQ8 can do. Did you know that with EQ8 you use a picture and trace it to make an applique or paper pieced block. Or use a picture to draw a block you want to make, it will even help you straighten the block to trace. I won’t remember everything little bit in the book but knowing what EQ can do, I can look it up.
